Hello, my lovely,
You may have already tried. Advice from friends: "Oh, we just took the nappy off and he was dry in two days." Things you have read online: "Don't worry, no one goes to university in a nappy."
If you are like many of the families that finally find me, you will have a long list of things that worked at first and now don't, such as sticker charts, chocolate drops and bribes.
And yet, something is not clicking. Your child just says no, holds on to their wee or poo until they get a nappy at nap or bedtime, or they just soil themselves. Maybe you have explained, been patient, posted about it on a mums' group, and you feel even more unclear about what you need to do.
Your child may be resisting, saying they don't need it, or never telling you when it is coming, only when it's too late. They may be avoiding the topic, or withholding poo and getting constipated, so their poos are becoming massive because they only go a few times a week.
It can feel confusing, frustrating and, at times, overwhelming. Why can other children get this? Is my child lazy? Stubborn?
This is where we slow down. Your child is none of those things. When we meet, I will explain what is happening, and we will begin to understand why.
You do not have to carry this alone. You do not need to try harder.

- A simple, respectful plan for every caregiver, concise enough for a nanny or partner to use
- 45 minutes of support time over 2 weeks, 15 minutes at a time: on WhatsApp, Google Meet, or I call you
